The 20 MINUTE FRESH AIR CHALLENGE!

Every day this week, let’s get outside for AT LEAST 20 MINUTES EVERY DAY to load up on some Vitamin D and enjoy the outdoors! Let’s lace up those walking shoes and go for a 20-minute walk.

We keep hearing about the power of high-intensity training and metabolic conditioning. But walking is also good for you (mind, body, and spirit)!

It’s a great way to boost your mood, get in some active recovery (if you’ve been training hard in the gym), it reduces stress, and can help lower your blood pressure. Plus, if you turn up the speed a bit or hit the hills, it can be a wonderful cardio workout.

Not only that, it has some surprising other benefits, like helping to prevent weight gain at the genetic level and battling breast cancer.

But one of the greatest benefits of all- is that it gives you a chance to clear your head and get away from technology for a little while.

You can reconnect with nature and even with yourself. It’s refreshing and rejuvenating… and that’s why we’re going to be doing it for at LEAST 20 minutes every day this week!

Plus, going for a walk is a fun way to to catch up with busy friends, and kids love it, too!
