Vaughan, Ontario – January 9th, 2015 After its success downtown Toronto, The Motion Room is excited to announce it has expanded to a second location in the city of Vaughan. The Motion Room’s Vaughan Fitness Studio is now open at 125 Hawkview Boulevard.
About The Motion Room
The Motion Room Fitness Studio opened in Toronto’s Junction neighbourhood in 2009. The brain child of co-owners Joseph Martino and James Cappellano, TMR is not a typical fitness facility.
“When you walk into TMR you won’t find rows of treadmills and ellipticals, but instead BOSU’s, Ballast Balls, Air Fit Trainers, Resistance Bands, and our signature agility ladder.” says Martino.
Martino and Cappellano have created a fitness community based on four pillars – Educate, Motivate, Guide, and Support. These four ideas paired with their extensive backgrounds in the health and fitness industry have come together to create a fitness regime that is unfaultable.
“Initially our goal was to create a system that made personal training affordable and accessible to everyone.” says Cappellano. “We were inspired by the fitness systems in place while we were working abroad and the sense of community we saw in gyms around the world. We wanted to bring that home to Toronto.”
The Motion Room is primarily known for its Personal Co-Training system that allows Members to work with a personal trainer in a group setting for a fraction of the cost. The Motion Room provides personalized plans for its Members based on their goals and desired body types, working with them to track success, and achieve said goals.
Alongside their Personal Co-Training system, The Motion Room offers The 4 Series System. Designed by Martino with overall fitness in mind, The 4 Series challenges participants with Full Body, Core, Movement, and Recovery programs. The 4 Series System provides the necessary tools and proven exercise routines to help you efficiently lose weight, decrease body fat, improve cardiovascular endurance, increase lean muscle mass and strength, and improve overall coordination, balance and flexibility.
